Timetable, Enrolment and Fees

2024 Fees

  • All classes run as per usual on Public Holidays
  • Annual Enrolment fee – $30 per student or $50 per Family – Includes a free t-shirt for each student
  • 10% Discount for students who attend 3 or more classes (can be combined between family members.
  • Private Lessons – Bookings essential and must only be scheduled through the office $30 per 30 mins $45 per 45 mins. $60 per 60 mins

Fees Policy

  • Students are enrolled for the whole term (9 or 10 weeks). If you wish to leave the term early due to illness or injury, you must arrange a meeting with Miss Jill and explain your departure.
  • If do decide not to continue for the whole term, no refunds will be given.
  • Each Term fee must be paid in full prior to classes commencing.
  • Fees are calculated per term.
  • We are an approved Active Kids and Creative Kids provider. Claim up to $300 per child per year at www.service.nsw.gov.com.au and supply us with your voucher number.
  • 10% discount applies to students attending 3 or more classes per week. This also includes multiple lessons shared between family members.
  • We are unable to refund/credit term fees, or part thereof, due to absence.
  • The annual enrolment fee is non-refundable.
  • Payment options are: cash, direct deposit and credit card
  • A late fee of $20 will apply to any invoice that is 7 days overdue.
  • For private lessons a 50% cancellation fee applies with less than 24 hours’ notice.
  • Students will be automatically re enrolled each term.

Terms and Conditions

General Policy’s

  • Students are enrolled for the whole term (10 weeks). If you wish to leave the term early due to illness or injury, you must arrange a meeting with Miss Jill and explain your departure. No refund will be given. Direct debit fees will continue for the duration of the term until we are informed.
  • In the case of a lockdown due to the pandemic, all classes will switch to be online via Zoom or pre-recorded lesson until we are able to return to face to face lessons. No further credits or refunds will be applied if you choose not to participate online.
  • All students must fill out an enrolment form and pay the annual fee before participating in ANY class at Element. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • We reserve the right to change any part of our program, timetable or general rules at any time.
  • Class times may alter from term to term.
  • All Element students are expected to perform in the annual production. By participating in this event you are giving consent for Element to use photographs and/or video footage of the dance student for promotional purposes e.g. website, newspapers, events or flyers.
  • In order to provide adequate dance training, it is necessary for dance teachers to physically coach in the development of student technique and placement, which may require strictly appropriate physical contact between dance teaching staff and students. It is also understood that any sort of development cannot occur without a formal, disciplined and structured approach to all dance classes administered at Element Cheer & Dance.
  • It is not guaranteed that the same teacher will teach the same class for the whole term or year.
  • Element cannot be held responsible for any property lost or damaged on the premises
  • Participants with an existing injury attend classes at their own risk. Please inform us on your enrolment form of any pre-existing conditions.

Parent / Carers Policies

  • Please wait in the designated waiting area before classes commence
  • Mobile phones must be switched to SILENT during classes
  • Please keep noise to a minimum when classes are in session
  • Please respect all coaches, staff and students at all times
  • Bullying will not be tolerated
  • Respect all equipment, facilities, furniture in the venue and treat it like your own
  • Do not leave any rubbish in the space, use the bins provided
  • Children are NOT to be left unattended unless they are participating in a class. Students should be dropped off no earlier than 15 minutes before class and should be picked up no later than 15 minutes after class from INSIDE the venue.
  • Parents are asked to keep up to date with information by checking emails regularly, all notices including newsletters and receipts will be sent primarily via email. Please also follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for the latest news and updates
  • A courtesy email, phone call or text message is expected for all absences. Positions will be jeopardised if students are noted to have missed a significant amount of classes without a formal explanation.
  • Parents must respect all decisions made by the Director of the studio.
  • It is understood that those students participating in Dance Team and performance classes are expected to represent Element in competitions and performances throughout the dancing year. These may involve further costs such as; rehearsals, costume hire fees and entry fees.
  • If choosing to represent or discuss Element on social media, please must do so in a positive way.
  • All parents must behave in a respectable manner towards all staff members of Element both inside the studio & out.  Any kind of rude or disrespectful behaviour will result in the immediate expulsion of the student, forfeiting any term or advance payment.
  • During the period of enrolment and participation at Element, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to advise the Director if personal circumstances and/or information change
  • No valuables are to be brought to the studio. Element and our staff will not be liable for any lost or stolen items.  

Student Policies

  • No food may be consumed in the training area – only water bottles are allowed
  • While waiting for your class, please keep noise to a minimum when classes are in session
  • Please respect all coaches, staff and students at all times
  • Bullying will not be tolerated
  • All students are required to wear correct uniform as stated above to every lesson.  We firmly believe it is an important part of learning as it encourages a sense of discipline & reminds us of our duty as a student.
  • No phones in class.
  • Students must respect all decisions made by the Director of the studio.
  • It is understood that those students participating in Dance Team and performance classes are expected to represent Element in competitions and performances throughout the dancing year.
  • If choosing to represent or discuss Element on social media, students must do so in a positive way.
  • It is the discretion of the Director and staff of Element as to which students are given opportunities to compete and perform at Eisteddfods throughout the year.

  • Athletes are reminded not to perform any cheerleading stunt or tumble outside the studio without a qualified coach supervising.  Element will not be held responsible for any injury sustained outside of class.
  • Students are reminded not to touch the studio mirrors at any time.
  • Ensure that jewellery is kept to a minimum. Watches, Fitbits and bracelets are not required in class. Earrings should be minimal especially during cheerleading classes. Studs are preferable if you cannot remove them.

  • All items produced by Element Cheer & Dance (including original music edits, choreography, creative concepts, costumes, props and sets) remain the property of Element Cheer and Dance and cannot be replicated or reproduced.
  • All dance teaching staff are appropriately qualified and skilled in the delivery of dance & cheer tuition and while Element Cheer and Dance will not be held responsible for any injuries which may occur whilst in class or on the premises at 1/10 Shelley Road Moruya , Element and its staff will seek medical attention or administer basic first aid for your child immediately if needed.

  • Please be aware that Element reserve the right to sell videos of students who participate in the end of year performance and professional performance and/or group photos. Original photographs/videos taken by staff are held securely by Element and used for business purposes only.

Fee Policy

  • Please abide by our payment systems and respect due dates.
  • Students are enrolled for the whole term (10 weeks). If you wish to leave the term early due to illness or injury, you must arrange a meeting with Miss Jill and explain your departure. Direct debit fees will continue for the duration of the term until we are informed.
  • No refunds will be available if you decide not to continue for the entire term.
  • It is understood that an annual, non-refundable enrolment fee applies to all students at the commencement of their enrolment date. $30pp or $50per family for ALL students.
  • Fees are calculated and invoiced per term.
  • 10% discount applies to students attending 3 or more classes per week. This also includes multiple lessons between family members
  • We are unable to refund/credit term fees, or part thereof, due to absence.
  • Fees are calculated and invoiced per term. The full term invoice is payable.
  • Payment options are: cash, internet transfer credit card and direct debit.
  • If students are away for a full term then fees are not charged, however the student may lose their place in the class if it becomes full.
  • A fee of $5 will be applied any direct debit payment that has been declined.
  • It is understood that there are NO REFUNDS on any payment of Term fees, enrolment fee,  costume hire, uniform payment and competition fees unless unforeseeable circumstances means that classes must cease for the Term at the direction of the Director or drastic personal circumstances have occurred. At any case, plenty of communication must occur between student, parent and teachers in these sorts of circumstances.
  • For private lessons a 50% cancellation fee applies with less than 24 hours’ notice
  • Costume fees are non refundable

Hot Weather

  • When the weather is forecast for 40 degrees or higher by the Bureau of Meteorology then classes are cancelled for that day for health and safety reasons of all students and staff. No refunds for classes cancelled due to weather.
