Our goal is to build confidence by starting with a strong technical foundation. We aim to progress your child at his/her own ability level in an inclusive, positive environment designed to inspire and educate.

Our Staff

Owner & Director – Jill Wehner

Miss Jill has been dancing since the age of 3. Studying in Canberra with the Canberra Dance Theatre and Helen Poulos Academy. She was also a NRL Canberra Raiders Cheerleader in 1993 and 1994 (which was when they won the grand final). She then moved to Batemans Bay in her late teens and worked at Body Dynamics Dance Studio, taking ownership of the school when she was only 19.  After moving to Byron Bay in 2001, she danced professionally for 5 years as well as teaching for the prestigious Paradise Performers Academy under the guidance of Peta McKenny.  She started the very successful Vision Dance Studio from 2004 – 2011, winning numerous national dance and cheerleading titles. Jill also travelled to Hawaii to train with world cheer champions Hawaii Pacific University under the guidance of Garrin Gosnell. She is a qualified cheerleading coach with USASF/ISASF, ICU, AASCF, Gymnastics Australia & NCSSE to level 5 and advanced silver, qualified through National Dance Coaches Association and also is a national and international cheer and dance judge working at events throughout the year. Jill also worked at ‘Legs Dance Studio’ in Canberra 2015 to 2018. Many of her past students have gone on to have professional careers, working with artists such as Justin Bieber, Pink, Beyonce, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, FloRida, Pitbull, Rikki-Lee and top 10 on SYTYCD Australia. Miss Jill has also been heavily involved with the Cancer Council’s ‘Stars of the Eurobodalla’ for the past 6 years helping to raise over $250,000 for the charity. In her 32nd year of teaching all styles of dance Jill will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Eurobodalla region.

Kelly Lambert

Miss Kelly has been dancing and performing for over 26 and is trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, pointe, lyrical and hip hop. She has completed her Advanced level 1 Checchetti Ballet exams, also has a Certificate III in Community Activity Programs with Australia Teacher of Dancing (ATOD) and completed her dance HSC in 2009 achieving high results throughout. Miss Kelly has a passion for teaching and has taught for over 10 years in private studios, public schools and has mentored many aspiring dancers to become teachers.

Element Assistant Teachers

Our trainee teachers will be assisting our staff throughout the year. These students also attend a specialised training program to help develop their skills. Throughout this program they will learn how to structure a class, style specific terminology, stage craft, music and video editing, costume design, dance history and much more. 

Guest Teachers

Natalie Pritchard

Natalie has a wealth of experience and is excited to join the Element family. Her passion is Classical Ballet she studied at Newton Performing Arts High school, McDonald College and the prestigious Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy. She was a soloist with the NSW Ballet Company for 2 years as well as a professional dancer with Dance Encore Productions. Natalie is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and has taught a various studio throughout Sydney preparing students for the ballet exams and choreographing for annual productions. In 2011 she opened her own successful studio En Pointe Dance Academy. Natalie also has a Master of teaching (early childhood) and a Bachelor of Education.  She is now living on the South Coast with her husband and three children. 

Julia Regi

Internationally experienced and a highly successful dancer, Miss Julia moved to Australia from New York City. Before that, Julia was a soloist with the Finnish National ballet and English National Ballet. Miss Julia started her training with the Royal Swedish Ballet School and Hamburg Ballet School. During her career she work with some of the most prominent and renowned choreographers in the world including Sylvie Guillem, Natalia Makarova, Patrice Bart and John Neumeier to name a few. She performed soloist roles in Nureyev’s ‘The Nutcracker’ and ‘Sleeping Beauty’ Cranko’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ Makarova’s ‘La Bayadere’, Beigmeister’s ‘Swan Lake’, Jorma Uotinen ‘Firebird’, Sylvie Guillem’s ‘Giselle and William Forsythe’s ‘Second Detail. Upon leaving the English National Ballet, Julia decided to extend herself to other dance styles, and further developing herself as an artist she performed at the famous French Cabaret Lido de Paris. Now based on the NSW south coast Miss Julia continues to pass on her wealth of knowledge to her students as well as working for the Ford modelling agency.
